How to record a crisp clear recording using windows sound recorder?

Hello, i have a question regarding the windows sound recorder. I'm trying to record an audio clip from a utube video and when i record it's not clear and i can hear my hone background noise, i'm assuming that the mic is enabled... how do i mute that? i just want a crystal clear recording =) feed back would be great thanks

Set stereo mix as default - in Recording Devices when you right click on the speaker by the clock.

Also, mute the microphone in the Sound Panel.
