How to recover a unallocated partition with bitlocker encryption

My computer is running windows 7. It have 5 partition: C (windows), D, E, F, I. D: and F: partition is encrypted with bitlocker. I tried to shrink D for 2GB free volume wih diskmgmt in windows 7. After that, F: drive disappear on windows but It still appear on diskmgmt as unlocated partition. I tried to used Active recovery partition but It cannot solve the problem. Please tell me how?

John,

You should be able to delete the 75.11GB free space partition on the far right to make it unallocated space. Afterwards, you could either create a new partition with the unallocated space, or extend the D: partition into it.

Thank you for quick reply. I cant delete the partition because "delete partition" is disable. I wonder that what happen with data on the partition, is it deleted after delete the partition?

See if you may be able to use the delete volume override command at step 5 in METHOD TWO in the tutorial below to delete the "free space" volume.

If not, then see if the free MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition program may be able to.

I already have a program to format the partition. But I afraid that if I delete the partition all data will be eased

Well, I'm not sure if you may be able to recover anything on the HDD since it was encrypted with bitlocker. You might see if creating and using a ubuntu live CD may be able to recover your files off the partition.

I already used mini windows CD but I cant see the partition. Do you have any way to repair the partion?

You could right click on the "Free space" partition, and click on the New Simple Volume option to restore the partition. Afterwards, you could use your Active Recovery Partition program or a program like Recuva to try and recover any data from it.

I'm sorry for too late reply. I already assign a letter for the volume, but it appear as a unformatted partion so I cannot recovery any thing. Some one said that I should edit some sector (or merge with another partion) on it but I dont know how to do. Please help me

Sorry mate, but anything that was on that partition is most likely unrecoverable by now.
