Solved How to remove computer from network?

Hello,
I have searched the forum and not found the solution to this problem (or it was removed for some reason.)
My sweetheart got onto my computer and created a homegroup to add his computer to my network. I believe that allowed him to view my desktop/files and vice versa.
I now have my computer and his computer in the view of icons.
I've turned off file sharing but can't seem to figure out how to remove his computer altogether.
Help please?

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums JourneyGirl.

As I understand it your boyfriend will have to request to leave the homegroup while he's at his computer.

What you could do is leave the homegroup yourself, and then start a new homegroup, which will generate a new password.

If your boyfriend doesn't know the password he won't have access to the new homegroup, and as you've left the old one, he can't get access that way either.

Moral of this story is never share homegroup

Especially a boyfriend He'll find away to use it against you
not to get off point but more or less when the love goes sour so does the connection

This is what I did . . .

I sure to appreciate the help.
My husband went to his computer and he made some changes and tells me he doesn't have access to my puter now.
He is a software developer and very smart. I don't think he's fibbing and I've got nothing to hide . . .
Regardless, I'm nitpicky about this kind of stuff.
I checked out the details of the network connection and my computer (a laptop) is connected to wireless through his computer according to the diagram.
The map looks like this:
JourneyPC>?>VISTAMEDIA>gateway>(picture of the earth which represents the world wide web)

JourneyPC is my computer, VISTAMEDIA is his computer, and there really is a picture of a big question mark between my puter and VISTAMEDIA.

I tried totally disconnecting from the network and reconnecting but I've got the same thing.
I've turned off file sharing and disable the homegroup.
So, here's my thought right now: I can disconnect from his network. I've got a little blue Linksys box of my own. Maybe I could set that up and that would take care of the problem?

Providing you password protect the Linksys and don't let him know the password that should as you put it, take care of the problem.
