Hi,

I installed ubuntu 9.10 (i think I also installed latest grub or something).. and tried it a bit.. and decided to remove it.

I cleaned up the partitions which ubuntu were installed. I followed an instruction from youtube to recover widnows boot..

but it won't work. (Youtube instruction was for vista).. .

I did
1. boot with cd

2. ran bottrec.exe /FixMbr at command prompt

I also tried... to let windows 7 fix the problem..

but I still have grub and windows 7 won't boot

Can you help me plz?

Hello,

Try running Startup Repair. Sometimes it needs to be run as many as 3 times.

Hope this helps,
~Jonathan

You may need to format the HD to get rid of GRUB.

Once you get started up using Win7 DVD Startup Repair, post back a copy of the listings found by EasyBCD, and your full Disk Management drive map.

use the snipping tool found in Start menu, attach files using paper clip in reply box.
