How to replace microsoft office 2007 / with 2010

Microsoft Office 2010/ Replace Office 2007

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 and Microsoft Office 2007 Small Business. I will be receiving Office 2010 Professional Plus. Do I have to uninstall Office 2007 Small Business or can I install Office 2010 over it.

1. Can Office 2010 be installed over Office 2007. Is it better to uninstall Office 2007 and then install 2010. Which would be the best way to go about this.​
2. I have a lot of files and documents in Word and Excel 2007 will they carry over. How do I do this.​

Please let me know the best way to go about this. What is the best way to handle the upgrade. I have a lot of files on word and excell. Will they transfer over.

Please tell me the easiest way to change from Office 2007 to Office 2010. It is improtant that all my documents and excell files are brought over.

I would uninstall Office 2007 and then install 2010, but they can probablly both be installed on one computer. Also 2007 Word/Excel documents will both work in 2010 the same exact way.
