How to run my Xp appliances in my new Window 7

Hello, everyone...

I really need your guide here..
I just bought Acer Ferrari One (and additional 4 GB RAM)...it comes with Window 7 Home Premium....now I have some problem with my scanner (Umax Astra 5600) and some of my software ....how could I use those again under Window 7???

Can Virtual Xp mode works on Window 7 Home Premium???

Check your peripheral manufacturers website for drivers for Windows 7, but if there are none then download the drivers for Vista and install them in Vista compatibility mode instead...

Virtual XP isn't available in Home Premium...

You can, however, dual-boot and retain XP on your machine...

Hi there
a better solution -- why not use VBOX, Vmware server or vmware palyer (all FREE) and then run XP as a virtual machine.

The software listed above WILL DEFINITELY RUN ON W7 HOME PREMIUM.

You will need an XP install disk to install your XP VM or you could import an existing XP image.

If you get an "activation request" just use the phone activation and tell MS that you've changed your hardware as W7 won't run everything you need.

Once you've got an activated XP image you can "Clone" this as many times as you like BTW.
