If it does then mail can be left on your server so you can access it on MANY machines -- doesn't get deleted until you purge it
(I think you might also be able to leave stuff on the server in POP3 as well but you need to find a setting - leave on server -- not sure where that is as I'm using IMAP).
Also for Outlook 2007 and earlier (doesn't work in Outlook 2010) download the backup folder program pfbackup.exe from the Office 2007 site -- then you can backup your folders to any file you like and open them again on another machine -- the BACKUP option is added to the file menu.
