How to speed Windows 7 Updates

I want to know is any way to decrease the windows 7 updates from taking soo long to check and to install
that'sall

Hello aacm,

The Windows Updates for 7 have been running slow for many users ever since 10 was released.
I would suggest you install the latest Windows Update Client https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3138612
This seems to speed things up a little, especially on new installs. But there will still be a wait.

Also try at different times of the day/night. I'm in the UK and tend to get updates quicker in the morning before 12pm than I do at night.

It might help if make sure you have the latest Net framework 4.6.1 installed do it manually if not
