how to stop drivers auto installing

i am having some problems with my laptops bluetooth and i think its driver related, i want to use the drivers i got from samsungs website but when i uninstall the old drivers then restart my computer, windows goes and reinstalls the old drivers! pita! so i did some googling, but the only options i found was someone saying to right click the device under 'devices' but bluetooth is built in and it doesnt show up under devices and hardware. the other option said to do something with gpedit. but i dont seem to have that. can anyone help me on how to stop drivers automatically installing on win7 home

Have you tried just installing the Samsung drivers without uninstalling first? alot of driver software can get rid of old drivers and put in new ones before restarting. Or if you come across the option to restart, deny it.

Thats for connected devices and not built-in. Bluetooth isn't covered. The other help given in the link is for those with Windows 7 but excluding home, and premium editions.
