There are two green lights on the front (see attached). I know the one on the left indicated HD activity. I am not sure what the one on the right (with the lightbulb icon under it) is for. I do not have the manual because I bought is as a refurb from a computer repair shop and they didn't give me one. The right light was never on before (and I've had this unit for 8 years), The last few days, after the system is powered up, that light comes on about 2 hours later. I wanted to know if this is something to be concerned about since it was never on before.

Hello debodun

There are two LEDs that connect motherboard to Front Panel of Case. These are called HDD LED, and PLED (Power LED). I do not know of any others. You have identified the HD activity lamp, so the remaining lamp must be PLED.

What happens if you hibernate the computer, does this lamp start flashing in Sleep Mode?

Hibernate is a function I don't use, but thank you for the reply.

Well it is odd that the lamp does not appear for 2 hours. Perhaps there is a faulty connection; just because the computer works, does not mean the case is wired properly, or has developed a fault. Very odd.

I thought so, too. Why it just started doing this and only comes on after the computer has been on a while. Doesn't seem to affect anything. I looked in Task Manager and thing look normal. Nothing amiss in the Device Manager either.
