Hi guys I want to know if anyone can help me on this.
If there is an XP forum that anyone can recommend I will appreciate.

I´m installing the driver from the plug and play resource but the printer does not repond and I see an error displayed in a popup from the system tray.

I think you should update XP to SP3 before doing anything else - not only for security purposes, but because that may make a difference in your driver compatibility.
