hp dv with win 7 still runs

just replaced the motherboard on my dv9205 with a later model dv9913 motherboard
works ok everything on the screen is a little wide the graphics card rating in windows 7 system properties is 1.0 should be a 4.1 and it runs superpi slow 45 sec but downloads transfers files ok could this be i need a later model screen know or what could be the problem

If you haven't reformatted it could just be driver noise.
I would do a clean install after changing something as major as a motherboard, even if the replacement was similar to the original.

You swapped motherboards without re-installing Windows? If so you may want to consider doing a clean install. I didn't compare the two but if there are hardware differences you may be running with incorrect or missing drivers. Have a look in device manager and see if anything is flagged as having an issue.
