HP laserjet 1020-1022 driver

hi guys,i have an hp printer and my operating system is win7 x86,when i install the software for the printer it fails,i even updated the software for the driver but it made no difference,please i need help.

What errors do you see?

Can you print a test page from the printer, itself?

Do you see any errors in Device Manager?

Is the printer recognized when you plug it into the USB?

Try running the HP diagnostic utility:

Is this the driver you installed?

hi Lemur,about ur questions:
1.i attached it

i download the HP diagnostic utility but it doesn't recognize the printer,and no i didn't download 1022 driver i just downloaded 1020 driver and it didn't work.and when i want to add the printer from CP an error occurs!

What if you click Add Printer, Have Disk, and point to the directory where ezinstall is. We just want the print driver.
