So, for starters, I'll give a slight description of the situation I'm going thru right now. The current setup I have is the computer running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS after converting from Windows 10 after the computer had a whole meltdown. No hardware damage or anything was detected but after that I gave up on Windows. Now, with the stuff that I do, I kinda have to use Windows. I am definitely not going back to the hellbent Windows 10, and 8 or 8.1 is eh. So, enough ranting, I'm wondering how to fix this. I downloaded a bootable ISO directly from Microsoft AND tested it on a VM and one of my home servers and it booted perfectly fine. I put it onto a formatted FAT32 partition named accordingly to the image name on a GPT w/a protective MBR partition table (the exact perfect setup for a bootable USB on my system AFAIK). Every time I try to boot from the prompt and the NOPROMPT EFI file it fails with "The selected boot device failed." and returns me to the BIOS boot menu. I'm kinda helpless here so I thought you guys on here could help.
Thanks to all,

P.S. The app for the forum broke on my phone on the iOS 12.1 beta, it showed an error every time I launched it about a "Invalid License". So, my response might not be quick. I will check this thread every 2 days or so.
