HP Pavilion DV6 Laptop - Minimizes iTunes disappears

Whenever I minimize iTunes it disappears from the taskbar whether than going there and I can't find it anywhere. It's driving me bonkers. Please help!!

Right click your Taskbar and click on Properties,
Taskbar buttons, what is it set on see what Never hide does.
You can also open iTunes Use the Alt key and Help section see if the diagnostic comes up with anything.
How are you minimizing ?

It is set on Always combine, hide buttons.
I minimize by using the underscore at the top right of the window.
