when i turn on the laptop i get no operating system found.but if i put the windows 7 dvd in it will boot up, if there,s no dvd in it will just say no operating systen found,
once the pc boots up to windows i can take the windows 7 dvd out of the drive and surf the web ect...
is there a way to get this to boot up with out the dvd in the drive..
i ran a disk check in commond promp and got
failed to transfer logged messages to the event log status 50
X:\Sources>
i also ran
bootrec.exe /RebuildBcd
The above command will scan all your disks for other operating systems compatible with Windows 7 and allow you to add them to your system's boot list.
and i got total identified windows installations 0
i was told to run this
Code:
http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?groupid=606&sid=2&lang=en
but im not sure what to do here.
At DOS prompt type dlgdiag5.exe to run the program???
and at start up it,s not giving me the option to boot from the dvd, i CReated a bootable iso with magic iso.
