Hp Pavillion dv6 7050ca synaptics touchpad functions not working?

Hi, I own a hp pavillion dv6 7050ca notebook and the touchpad is working but the disable/enable function on the top left corner, gestures, etc is not... The only way to get the functions working is to go to the mouse settings and right when it pops up, the functions work...but right after I shutdown,restart,hibernate, the functions stop working again..my brother has the exact same laptop and doesn't have this problem..we have the same device version(snynaptics pointing device driver version 8.1) and I also checked my msconfig to make sure synaptics is enabled on both startup and services..pls help me! Keep in mind the touchpad still works..just not the gestures and disable/enable square on top left corner of touchpad. And I also tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver but still no luck..any help will be very much appreciated!

I would reccomend for you to try This to repair your drivers and such.

Umm I downloaded the stuff and pressed find solution...and nothing happens..

I would try to Uninstall your drivers, then download them from Here!
