I've got a HP Photosmart P1000 printer since several years ago. I'm happy with it (I don't need/want to buy a new one) but HP no longer supports it. The latest drivers are from 2003 (for windows XP x32).
However I got it to work in Vista x64 using the drivers for HP deskjet 930C which were listed in 'add printer' wizard (add printer > add local printer > USB001 > choose brand and model); so I've tried the same method in W7RC x64. The problem is that the HP DJ 930C driver is not included in W7.
I can't download that driver from HP's web because it's only available in Windows Vista (I mean the driver is included in Vista but it's not accessible as a standalone driver).
Any idea or workaround?
Thanks in advance
