Hp Probook 4510s boot problem... please help...

The setup completed and it is now in windows fully working thanks... But i still get a message in the corner of the boot screen saying invaled serial number how do i remove this

Activate with the Product Key on the COA sticker - at the link at the bottom of Computer>Properties page.

Did you wipe the HD as suggested from start?
 
i formatted the hdd at the start of the install, it is the cd that came with the unit and it is activated as it has the coa on memory if the cd so it is activated... how do i remove the invalid serial key message

Did you try what I suggested? It often gets rid of that error no matter how it's caused or shouldn't be caused.

Your Product Key is listed on the COA sticker. Click Change Key link at Computer>Properties to insert it. You may need to make the robocall to sort the batch key on sticker. If the link is not there, google slmgr commands to see how to insert key via Command line.

Otherwise call your manufacturer's tech support to get it activated.
