HUD in L4D2

Is there a HUD in L4D2 and if so how does one get it to display?

there is indeed a hud in l4d2. why it isnt visible to you is somewhat of a mystery....

Are you:

*Using a FULLY up to date version?
- Try validating the game cache in the properties menu through steam. there might be a corrupt file or 2.

*Using an "autoexec.cfg" ?
- It would be in X:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\cfg. delete it, then run the game. Or edit it with notepad, search for a line, something like, "cl_drawhud 0", and delete that line.

If all else fails, Run the game, go into the game options and enable the developer console. Run a map, any map. hit the "~" key, and type "cl_drawhud 1" w/o quotes.

Any of these should correct the issue.
