I am looking for a tool to fully customize my Windows 7 Logon

I just can't seem to find any tool to do this. I want to replicate the Windows XP logon screen. This would require quite a tool. I've only found ones to just change the background. I did find one called Logon Workshop, and it will do everything I need, but... I just can't figure out how it works. I'm not sure if it even is completely functional.

Uh, yeah. That's how I found all the tools that I found. Most of them simply change the logon screen background. Only one looks promising, Logon Workshop, but I can't figure out how it works. That's why I come here, for people that do this often.

I think it is a mistake to hang on to XPired. But that maybe just me. What's wrong with the Windows 7 logon?

Not what I was looking for. I specifically want to change everything about the logon screen. The program I have linked below should do everything I want. However, I just can't figure out how it works.

I did not see the additional readme (there's one inside the folder, too). I'll read it and see if it helps.
