I can connect to the internet but it won't work

I'm posting this on my phone so it may be sloppy , but anyways.my Internet just ran out 2 days ago and I just got it renewed. At first my Internet didn't work so I called the company and got it fixed. They activated my internet and now it says I'm connected but whenever I use something that requires Internet it won't load. Also now there is a 2 infront of the name my network has now

You're going to have to give way more detail than that if you want some suggestions. What type of internet? How do you connect to the internet? How are you connected to the router (if you have one)? Etc, etc etc.

I use an Internet service from Hargray (you've probably never heard of them) , the way I connect to the internet Is going to the 4 bar icon and pressing on my network to connect to it, and I also gave a router and a modem that plug into my pc through an Ethernet cord (I'm no computer genius so I may need a simple walkthrough instead of something like /openscript 1245:con)

In addition, just to verify your connections, is your setup Modem > Router > Computer?
If it is, verify that the network cable is plugged in between the Modem Link and the Router's WAN or Internet Port. Then a network cable is plugged in to the LAN/Ethernet Port conencted to your computer, then do a Power Cycle after. http://howtopowercycle.blogspot.com/
