Solved I cannot connect to a shared internet connection thru pc to pc

I cannot connect to a shared internet connection thru pc to pc.
My cousin and I usually share internet connection thru adhoc..and then one day my pc doesn't recognize it as an internet connection anymore. I mean., successfully connected thru adhoc but no internet connection.
I run the trouble shooter but I am not familiar with the other two problems..and other one it says that no valid IP is set??something like that.. on the Local Area Connection..
I dunno if it is the source of my problem.,,but please help me.
And I don't know what is the IP to set.

Hi, try restarting your cousins internet/modem, and then try again, if not check your cousins firewall settings and see if the firewall isn't preventing any connections from coming in.

Go to Start-->Control Panel--->Windows Firewall--->Set it to off.
