I cant connect to internet suddenly through cable

Please i need help on how to restore my internet connecton with cable for my toshiba e205 computer running win 7

Not much to go on, but try resetting:

1. power down your system, modem and any routers and switches
2. plug the modem in, wait until the 'Online' light is on (1-2 mins)
3. plug any router, switches in one at a time, waiting 30 seconds between devices
5. Finally, power your system back on, log in, check your connection.

If you still aren't connecting, call your cable company for tech support.
