I can't get Remote desktop connection to work

Hello I have been trying to get my friends computer but I can't get it, he e-mailed me the file I needed to get on to his computer, however when it asked for his password it says its wrong... Why? I typed his password from his computer.... that he uses to log on to the computer.. His computer is Windows Vista Home premium My computer is Windows 7 home premium... Its frustrating me, I live about 500 miles away.. from his comptuer's location..

Then I try this invitation,



I Enter his computer log in



and it comes back wrong... He does have Remote desktop enabled

When he sends you the Login Invite and then restarts the Remote desktop it changes the Details and password, He needs to leave it on and then do it,

Also, I never use this feature its slow and annoying. Goto http://www.logmein.com and create a account and send him a deployment link. Once installed on his/her PC you can get in when ever you want belonging that its enabled on there PC.
