I can't Install Aobe master collection CS4

could you help me?.... I can't Install Adobe Master Collection CS4, when I make click on SETUP, Nothing happens!!!, I executed it in way of compatibility and nothing, Sorry, My English is too bad.

Are you running 32 bit? Did you fet the file straight from adobe?

Are there any errors in event viewer. (to get to event viewer type it in swearch)

If there are errors (lines with red X in left column) could you use the snippping tool (type snip in search) upload a screenshot of the errors? You attach them with the paperclip shaped ico in the reply

I have installed the adobe master collection in my win7 64bits normally, no need to use some compatibillity or wathever

I have the same problem! I can install not only the master collection cs4 , but anything from adobe! 0s/xindows 7 x32

If you have registry entries from a prior installation of Adobe you will have these issues. Get the Windows Installer Cleanup utility and run it before installing CS4. This will clean up all references to your prior Adobe installation and allow you to install CS4. You can get the utility at Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.

a) Post your problem on the Adobe Support forum
b) Call Adobe directly

Other options available ... reformat and reinstall ...

One last question... where did you get your copy of CS4??

I am running W7 x64, and have not had any problems with installation.

well, i set up the adbe illustrator that i have downloaded from adobe site but it can't start up!

to unblock the application you must go to the installer and select properties -

select run as administrator and unblock as per brinks tutorial linked in the first few posts.

If some of you seem to have issues with.... backup cd's. you may find it helpfull to buy a copy of the 30 day trial cd's from Adobe, then you can either purchase a licence from them if you are happy with the product, of for those of you that do have a product key already but are having install problems, can enter your existing product key.

I have to say, I have not had any issues installing CS4 in either beta or retail copy.

Can't figure this out!!!

I have previously installed Master collection items(pho,fla,ill etc.) while running vista, everything ok.
Now, after upgrading to windows 7, I, too, cannot longer install anything, not even in admin mode.
The installation stalls as per screen shot. No errors msg.
