I don't have much knowledge of viruses, but I do know that Trojans are a particularly nasty type. OK. Here is my problem when I boot up my computer on the main hdd or even the ssd I get taken straight to a windows is loading files black screen with a white loading bar at the bottom, then I get taken to a black screen with a black bar at the bottom with separated green line loading bar, after that I am put into the startup repair screen and it does its thing then it says "startup repair can not repair this computer automatically. It ask to send data(recommended) or don't send. This happens every time I try to boot up. I have tried going into the advanced boot menu and trying safe mode, but alas the same thing happens. I have tried booting a rescue cd and removing the virus with malware bytes but it just comes back as soon as I restart or shutdown my system. I would greatly appreciate any advice or fixes that you can give me. It has been about 3 days since I got it.

A little confused here on a few of your statements

"when I boot from my main HDD or my SSD"....

Your OS is on only one of two drives, correct? If neither boots, then....

How are you able to run any Malwarebytes if booting from a rescue CD?

You might also try (from an uninfected PC, of course) burning a bootable WIndows Defender Offline CD, obtainable from Microsoft.

If you can get booted, I'd also try Hitman Pro, and, TDSS Killer from Kaspersky.

Yes well it rather sounded to me like it was trying to safe mode boot and as the I think if I read that correctly Blasian was using a rescue disk by Malwarebytes though I have not come across that one and there are a few besides Kaspersky.

I for one just wanted to see what the Kaspersky disk came up with.

Anyway I think he should look at this too http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219533-troubleshooting-windows-7-failure-boot.html

Only problem is, Malwarebytes has no rescue disk... :)

Just wondering what 'OS' was booted for the scan if he could not boot in safe/normal mode.

(Kaspersky Rescue CD is a good tool, but, likely a better chance of not botching anything serious if give Defender Offline a scan; just an option)

Yes well I guess I took as I read it - as I have never seen a MBAM rescue disk and thought maybe the OP knew something I didn't;)

Actually I still think any rescue disk where ever it comes from is still a really good way of scanning without involving Windows therefore it remains "unbiased" as it were. There is heaps of scanning material in this link which (the link) use all, the time Free Windows Desktop Software Security List | Gizmo's Freeware and this is the rescue disk list - again because I think no one distinct scanner can possibly cover all malwares https://www.raymond.cc/blog/13-anti...-compared-in-search-for-the-best-rescue-disk/ I would not be interested in using the AVG or Trend ones but there are plenty of others.

The first link there is also good for any form of AV one wants including a load of free stuff:cool:

Now point taken re the Defender yes worth a try but I don't think nor have I ever seen rescue disk damage the system because it does run independently of Windows - but I stand to be corrected

I'm sorry, I should have posted my rescue cd which I have been trying to boot from. I believe it was called "Hiren's"

Hiren's does have a little ba$tardized mini-XP environment....

There is an advisory that MBAM may not work well from within Mini-XP environment, but, it can't hurt to try, assuming you correctly steer the scan to the correct OS drive...

Do you have an OS install disc? (You can do a repair install, where it rewrite Windows on top of itself without destroying your apps/files)

Here's the link to the MS bootable offline defender scanner...

Yes another method is to use someone else's DVD and use the ei.cfg removal tool to do so see this tutorial.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html

For your product key you can use this http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/153626-product-key-number-windows-7-find-see.html > option 2 it is very good even with retrieving factory installed OEM licenses as programs like Belarc will only return the factory's mass install licence code.

If you have to go to M$ but it is probably going to cost you if you want a download - unless you explain the problem on the phone and then I have found them to be very obliging.

I tried the Kaspersky 10 Rescue CD and did the scan, but it didn't seem to find anything. I have the windows product key so maybe I could try the method mdd1963 talked about. If so can I have more info on how to go about it.

Ok use whatever method you want if what mdd suggested doesn't come up with anything then try the tutorial I posted - it will definitely work if you have a friend or relative with a Windows DVD.

Now as in the tutorial it doesn't matter what version you want because the DVD;s all come with all versions you just need to pick the version you want and have the activation code for. That incudes whether the DVD is an OEM or a retail copy.

Some try to go Ultimate when they have just a Home code and of course with what you might imagine - no go. What you must look for though is if the borrowed DVD has SP1 or not - some of the older DVD's did not have that on it which in that case you will need to download and install SP1 - very tedious - been there done that:(
