I have windows 7 when i type the curser relocates to earlier letters. I can be typing an email or filling a form ony place. Should i do a system file check.

Hi,

I would suggest booting the system in “Safe Mode in networking” and check the performance in Safe Mode with Networking.

I would also suggest you to do Flee Power.

In case you have "Desktop", remove any 3rd party peripherals and power cord from your Desktop, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to discharge any residual current inside the desktop.
In case you have "laptop", remove the battery and charger/ac adapter/power cord from your Dell notebook, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to discharge any residual current inside the laptop.

You can even try doing BIOS default.
