I just can't stand it "My computer is better than yours" this is generally done by people who seek to opaque others with their poor intellect. My point is, that a great variety of people tells you: "My computer is better it's a Mac, or My computer it's better is a Vaio. Dell Sucks, HP too."
Over what base? Actually Dells and HPs are the top most on the whole market, making Dell the producer of the most powerful brand computers in the market -Alienware. And HP has been lately getting out of the competence with their dv5 - dv8 series that possesses incredible CPU and GPU for only a thousand bucks or 1,300 (Aprox.) if selected dv8. And they still say it's ****.
The problem was when my sister came by and told me that if it was true that Dell sucked and Sonys were better, that some classmates told her. I told her that it didn't matter the PC manufacturer, but what was inside. And then I went and asked them why were their computers better than my sisters, and they told me that they had "branded" computers and not **** brands as Dell (Vaios and Macs) or HP.
Then I compared both computers (Both Vista), it was true, the Vaio they were just showing off had a better processor: 2.0 and my sisters 1.8. But then, I checked index score, and they rated 2.8, while my sister's rated 3.5. They got killed in video performance and in Hard Drive, my sister surpassing them by a good quantity. Is not that I'm measuring the city by WEI, but at least for having a lead.
The other and final thing I'm about to say is that they say their computer is **** because it boot slow as hell. You know what was the problem, right? Yup, startup. They bulked up all those unused startup programs: (Adobe, iTunes, etc.) then they begin to crave for more performance. But sincerely, the only thing they do is browse Facebook, youtube, Chat, and play some dumb games on Miniclip. Or in some rare cases, play some computer games, but they are really old, and any computer can handle, like Halo CE.
So, what do you think about people "retardiness"? I don't believe that people know sufficient of computers, so that's why they keep hitting by how gorgeous and how pretty the computer is. Is this enough? Well... yes. The only thing they do, can do it my Windows 2000 computer even better than today's.
