Hi,

Please try the following steps mentioned on Update repeating with each shutdown :

1. Go to Program and Features, click it.

2. Scroll down to Microsoft.Net Framework 4 Client Profile, right click it.

3. It will give you a choice of Uninstall/Change, click it.

4. Then, it will give a choice to Repair it, pick Repair it. It will take about 4-10 minutes to repair (with my PC) your experience may vary.

5. When completed, go to your update center, and update it again.

I did the steps but after the reboot the updates are still there waiting to install again.

Right click on the updates and 'hide' them. Hopefully they will then not reappear.

It only effects the ones that you are hiding.

there are total of 5 updates that are appearing again and again, so if i hide them i wont get more updates from them? does it affect my pc if i dont get updates on them?

No, it will only be those 5 that are effected. And in any case, you can always 'unhide' and install them later. Maybe that frenzy is only temporary.

Yea, they are installed but the installer does not recognize them. No need to install them 100 times. Hopefully the installer will stop when it sees them in the hidden section.

This is a little glitch I have seen before. Hiding usually fixes it. The rest goes on normally.
