I only have 13 out of 450gb free and that is just way too low, but when I go to control panel to uninstall programs, the sizes are tiny. I also don't want to go searching through every folder to find stuff that takes up space. Is there like a program that can sort out every file by size? That would be perfect.

See if some programs are taking more space than others and decide if you want to keep them or not. Files like movies or 500 songs normally take a lot size and can be deleted if not needed. This will free up much space.

As he said first you can follow these steps and then you can follow these:

1. CCleaner-a very comprehensive tool which will not only help you delete temporary files but also do many maintenance tasks-http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
2. SpaceSniffer-a portable program that will graphically show you folders taking up the most space. If you click a folder it will show subfolders in that occupying most space and so on. Using this you can get an idea of space in your pc-http://download.cnet.com/SpaceSniffer/3000-18512_4-10913555.html
3. Duplicate Cleaner-it will find duplicates of files and folders in your computer and you can free space using this-http://www.digitalvolcano.co.uk/duplicatecleaner.html
4. Finally use tips on this post in howtogeek- 7 Ways To Free Up Hard Disk Space On Windows

Hope you find this helpful

I find WinDirStat to be really helpful for cases like this. What's great about it is that you can see what types of files are taking up the most space, sometimes it can be surprising.

If you know what's taking up chunks of space, then you can more easily re-organize your folders or delete some stuff. There's a guide for it here.
