I need help with backing up registry

I want to backup the registry that stores the settings for Notification Area and Taskbar. Which are these registry?

Any specific settings?

For now, look for the Taskbar entries in the Tutorial Index. Most will include a registry option that you may be able to use.

Is all settings of Taskbar and Notification Area are saved in the registry?

For the notification area i want to backup the settings for which icons are hidden and which shown.

Most settings for the taskbar are stored in the registry. The taskbar tutorials will show you the registry location. You may need to edit the .reg file in some of the tutorials to see the location though. You could then just export the registry key for that setting to have as a backup.

I'm not sure about the notification area for that though.
