I started up my laptop the next day it restarted because of windows u

ast night I had windows updates and it asked if I wanted to restart Now but I forgot about it so when I was shutting it down, the windows update was updating to 30%, The next day I started up my laptop and it then continued from 30% update but when it was completed 100% the laptop then restarted again.

My question is can this damage the laptop when starting up for first time then restarting because of windows update. I'm a bit worried because the laptop is fairly new

IF it successfully completed the updates (check the Update History) then it should be fine - but don't try doing it on a regular basis
