I dunno, oscardivine. The thread got sidetracked from confusion regarding Win 7 32 bit and Win 7 64 bit compared to IE9 32 bit and IE9 64 bit.IE? FF?
Sorry about that.
Your programs should run OK on Win 7 64 bit unless drivers the programs use have not been compiled for a 64 bit OS.
In that case, you will have to back everything up, perform a clean re-install of the 32 bit OS and then re-install your programs and data.
There really is no other option if your programs have dependencies not addressed by 64 bit drivers and compatibility mode.
