I want to Reduce my Laptop processor heat

Hi,
I am using Laptop 160GB HDD ,GB RAM, AMD TURION N550 processor.

My processor cooling fan runs very fastly from booting time and emitting hot air continually.

1. I changed bios settings as defaults.
2. Changed OS.
3. Cooling fan is clean and clear.
4. No dust in air Ventilaters.
5. CPU Temperature 54'C.

I don't know how to rectify this kindly help me anyone.

Was this problem posted earlier or something else to do with your laptop. Now 54C is not really unusual for a laptop unless it is just idling or surfing the net. A scan will produce those sorts of temps.

I am not sure if I said earlier it could have been someone else but
1. Shine a very bright light into the air intake and make sure the fan is freely spinning and when stopped is not smothered in dust it is sometimes hard t see in normal light.
2. Look into the air out let and see if the slots on that radiator are clear or not.

If these are ok then it sounds like the thermal compound on the CPU and GPU has dried out and become ineffective in which case you will have to renew it.

What model of machine is it please?
