I recently purchased a new i7-4790k, I had a msi g45 gaming MB which didnt support it so I had to update the bios. Once I did that it worked and I was using it fine for about a day. It recently shut off and then it started to constantly reboot.
It wont post it just boots for a second and then constantly reboots. I took it out and replaced the thermal paste thinking it was overheating but that had no effect.
I've got a 550W PSU so I'm not sure if it needs more power as I'm running a gtx 660 with 16GB of ram, 3 HDDs and a aftermarket cooler which uses 2 fans.
