I've got an Intel nuc, running Windows 7 Home, 64Bit edition. It's been running fine for over a year, but in the last several months it's developed an interesting problem. When shutdown, the computer will automatically reboot. I've tried everything from adjusting Windows power settings, and tweaking the Windows registry based on my research findings to no avail. At this time, the only thing that works, is pressing and holding the power button, and that seems to do it, and while that works, that's not how its supposed to work.
I've read the the how to recover from an infinite loop on this forum, but something is telling me that is not the issue. My gut (and have I big gut) tells me that it has something to with a peripheral, but I have nothing to back that up.
Any ideas, or thoughts are welcome.
