Icon Pinned to taskbar

I am using a program and i pinned it's exe , but today it went blank as if it can't find the location of the file but when i click on it , it opens , also when i click on the unpin is goes back to it's normal icon and once again it goes white when i click pin , any idea what is going on ?

Changing the name of the folder than contains the icon fix this problem but returing it to the old name it goes again white , i wonder what is the problem

It sounds like you need to rebuild your icon cache.
