Identical Monitors, not identical colors

I received my 2 Samsung BX2431 LED monitors today, hooked them up, installed drivers. And now after wasting an hour on finding out that I had to do scaling on my card in the AMD Vision control center to get rid of the black bands, I still am left with the problem that one monitor is whiter than the other. I had two different white windows open to compare on my second monitor has a yellow tint to it. Far enough to be bothersome. From what I can tell, my first monitor is fine as is.

All of the settings are exactly the same for both of the monitors. I switched the cables on each to see if that made any difference, and I even changed which DVI port I was using for them. It seems that one just is insistent upon being yellow.

Is there any way that I can fix this issue? I don't have very much knowledge in dabbling with the colors of monitors. It's not as simple as just turning the yellow down. Or is this a permanent issue that cannot be resolved?

Unfortunately, there can be variations in colours even with identical models.

There are three things you can try:

• Type 'color' in the search bar to open color management:
  
  Ensure that either both the monitors are using the same .icm profile, or that neither are.

• Adjust more settings on the monitors. ie the colours, brightness, contrast - make sure they are both using the same modes etc

• Use the ATI control panels colour controls for the monitor.

Just to make sure
check/tick "use my settings for this device" box

Then click on the colour profile wording (in middle box) to highlight it.
Then the box "set as default profile" wakes up(bottom of page)
Acknowledge the setting.
