Solved IE 10 settings

When I go to WSOC-TV: Interactive Radar for the Charlotte Area | www.wsoctv.com in IE 10, the Full Screen button does not appear as it does when I visit the site in Google Chrome. Can someone please tell me which settings I need to change to make that button appear?

What does show on the top right ?
The F11 key will also enter or exit full screen mode what happens if you use it instead ?
Confirm what your using for dpi and page zoom level,
Adjust dpi settings,

Does it help if you add the site to your comp-view list ?
Gear symbol and compatibility view settings,
If your already on the site it will already be listed in the Add box/ Click on Add and test.

The dpi and page zoom levels are both at 100%. The button doesn't show in compatibility view either.
I uploaded a screenshot in which I pointed out the missing element, but don't see where it says it has been attached yet to my initial post.

That looks more like a page or map +- option than full screen,
I see one browser search bar/Menubar/ Command bar/ Taskbar or any third party toolbar,
Unless you cropped out those options from the screen shot ?

The full screen button does not display when using IE11, IE10, IE9 or IE8. But, as the OP noted, it does show when using Chrome.

I doubt that there is anything that can be done to IE to make it show that control. My guess is that the website needs to be rewritten to make it work with IE.

I too cannot get the fullscreen option in IE10. It does show in Opera. A Guy

It shows in Firefox 15.0 and Firefox 25.0.1.
Also in Pale Moon 24.2.1 64bit.

I was curious if it was just a rendering engine thing...
...its not:
1st frame = Trident (used by IE)
2nd frame = Gecko (used by Firefox)
3rd frame = Webkit (see here)

I would have expected WebKit to show the full screen button; but instead, several things are missing. I guess it also depends on how the browser makes use of the rendering engine. As an aside, the tv station linked to in the OP is not responsible for the problem... they only add their logo to data from wxc.com. wxc designed the layout that many tv stations use on their website.

Yes, Thrash Zone, I did only provide a snip of the weather map from the web site and then just to show the position that the full screen button was supposed to appear in. Here's a link to that page.

Before I upgraded to IE 10, the button used to appear in the IE 8 I was using. Since IE 10 won't display that button, I've decided to make Chrome my default browser and have since removed IE 10 from my Taskbar. Clunky old thing anyhow! Thanks for trying to help me resolve the missing button problem TZ.

Yea I can't seem to get it either but did see this with html Validation,

Not sure what it all means but if you want to use Bing maps just go to Bing search and get it the site has some issues or Ie10 does ?

It definitely site related,
If you use bing search instead of navigating to the weather site the bing map being used works properly,
Although the full screen button was located in the header just above the map and not located under the +- symbols which might be the actual issue the site has with bing maps ?
