IE 8 UPDATE FAILS every time

KB2360131 for Internet explorer 8 64 bit fails every time? any idea why? This one single update was causing all updates to fail until I deselected the box for it.

This has been going on for a while.....I have Googled to death on this. There was another update before this one that always failed too.....

Just went through all that now....no go???

800719E4 is the error code on the failed update fyi......and on this one Google is NOT your friend!

Some persons reported that helped disabling network conections or change network connections -strange :sarc:.

Try below:

1.Disable network card in device manager and try install update again (standalone version).
2.if point 1 fail :verify settings in IE

disable all add-ones,protect mode and reset IE to defaults

3.Unistall all 3p security software if really nothing help

No dice.......is this update important?? ...soooooooo frustrating!!!

the way I solved this was to download IE9 beta.......Im sure it has all the same security updates.
