Internet Explorer 8 update always fails after a reinstall

I just remembered this so i wanted to bring it to the experts attention , every re install i ever did i always noticed internet Explorer 8 update fails , all other updates go smoothly though and i currently use internet Explorer 11 .

This is when i am doing nearly 160 updates after a reinstall , it seems i may be doing something wrong.

It's not unusual problem - but is usually fixable easily (using IE8 really is not a good idea, anyhow in the current internet context).

after I re-installed Windows 7 on my computer using the recovery disks provided by the manufacturer it came with IE9 when I installed the security update for it, it failed because I was also installing IE10 at the same time if this is whwat you are talking about
