IE 9 and Chrome browsers do not play flash and other videos.

I use win 7 ultimo. I have installed latest Flash player .While the Flash and other videos are playing while I am online but do not play while I am offline. I get error message to install Flash player in IE9 and No plugins are available for playing in chrome. Please advise and guide me how I can rectify this error.

Are you trying to play the flash videos offline from within the browsers? How do you go about trying to do that? Are you using some kind of HTML indexer software? Why not play the *.flv files directly with the default media player on your PC?

I just click the html file containing these videos and these will not play in IE and chrome offline.Pleasea advise. thanks

Hm, it sounds like a simple issue, so I might be wrong, but are you sure that the video files themselves are available on your PC for offline usage. The rest of the data from the *.html file you are loading might be available (say in your temporary folder) but the large data that a video clip contains might simply not be downloaded to your PC - hence, you cannot play the video if you are offline.

It is not like that. I have my own flash and videos which I have made and are in my HDD.These are not playing in these browsers.
