Hi rediew and welcome to Windows 7 Forumshi folks
been using ie9 since its release...
really liked the way you can mess around and 'tuck in' floating windows into tabs.
now one thing that really, really is buggin me off is its start.
whenever i start it off, it takes no less than 14 seconds to get me to my startpage (google.com)
also it takes a hell load of time to open a new tab or any link to a new window.
(im using a laptop - Q9000 2.0GHz+4Gb 1066MHz+GTX 280M, i refuse to have anything slower than 'instant')
noteworthy also is a strange bug involving password field (java):
on this banking site: https://www2.bancobrasil.com.br/aapf/login.jsp?flag=1
if you type anything on the 'password field' it will type 2 digits/strikes instead of only one. going compatibility mode doesnt work.
any help with any one of those items?
thx in advance.

First of all, don't forget that IE9 is currently in Beta, and as such may not be fully optimised. I too notice the delay upon starting, but expect that this will be greatly reduced or eliminated in the final version.
Now to your banking site. In the field senha de autoatendimento, which I am assuming is the field you are referring to, it enters 2 characters only when using a numeric key 0-9. Other keys/symbols only enter a single character. It could be a compatibility problem with the site. Note that using compatibility mode will, in most cases, enable a page that doesn't work as expected to work correctly. Like its application counterpart, where you can run a program as though you had installed it on a different OS, there may be occasions where this doesn't work yet it does work in the native OS/browser. If this is the case, you will need to use a different browser and hope that the site gets updated so that it works correctly in IE9.
