Hum mine do LF they are the same as the old IE9 set up.

The only thing I am finding with the new IE is that I click on a link in an email say for this forum and it takes a while for the page to load ie it loads the page above waits for a about a second then flicks down to the post that was linked

Works fine -- just a reminder that you don't need to add a load of Bloat and Addons.

I've actually given up on all the other browsers now on W7 -- IE10 does the trick just fine -- I never liked IE9 though so that's GONE. !!!

Don't forget that CSS3 and HTML5 are supported too if you like playing with that sort of stuff.

I'd suggest also you get rid of a load of unnecessary stuff you had with IE9 / earlier as well as most of these bits aren't needed anymore.

Flash isn't needed either as a separate loadable module. For PDF I suggest FOXIT rather than the adobe bloatware reader.

A look at some of your system start up and services might also be worth looking at to get the best advantages from IE10 -- a tip from W8 --Keep your machine LEAN AND MEAN.

(IE10 on W8 still performs IMO better than IE10 on W7 but remember I'm testing a NEW W8 with a quite old W7 so I really at some stage will do a CLEAN W7 re-install and install IE10 before I've added a lot of my applications. In any case it's FAR better than IE9 on W7 so I'd suggest installing it anyway on W7).

If you go to View >Toolbars, the drop down will allow you to experiment with the four default toolbars in IE; Menu, Favorites, Command, and Status.

You can also reach this Main Menu by right clicking on a clear area above the open tab. There may be other ways, but those are the two that I know.

Hi good people

My experience is not so funny and good, after installation of IE10 via Updates, browser keeps crashing no matter what. Tried all possible scenarios found on Mr Google, still does not work. I hope guys from Microsoft will release a patch or something to make IE work. Not happy so far

Mindinka, uninstall IE 10 from Programs and Features in Control Panel. Then uninstall any toolbars or extensions (one or more may be incompatible with IE 10). Then reinstall IE 10 by downloading it from here: Download Internet Explorer 10

The 64 bit install will install both the 32 bit and the 64 bit version of IE10.

Note that with IE10 there are not separate version of IE listed in the start menu. To use the 64-bit version you need to turn on Enhanced Protection Mode.

Click the gear icon in the top right corner, open internet options, go to the advanced tab, and scroll done to the security section. It will be under that. Note that you will have to restart your computer for it to take effect.

I use Opera, however, have been using IE10 Preview Edition for certain sites since the release day, I've updated to the fully compatible version for Windows 7 (via Windows Update). I will need to do some testing.
