I just ran TFC, and after rebooting the computer, Norton said: Norton 360 has encountered an error. Error: 3048, 3
Then he did "Checking installation" and after few minutes, it was a success, and now it works fine.

I would also not run Norton which is the cause of many problems we help with here, often solved by merely uninstalling it. But like with all bad infections you must use a special Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product.

Compare the install you have now with the perfect install compiled in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 based on what works best with tens of thousands of installs we've helped with here.

Your best bet is to do the Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 for best performance, especially if you're still running the factory preinstalled Win7 which is the worst possible install you can have.

If you want to troubleshoot the install you have, then yes you'd want to uninstall Norton which is problematic bloatware.
