IE9 ShoppingBHO.dll crash

So i was downloaded IE9 just a few minutes ago and let me tell you i just waisted that time in my life cause then I got this crash saying "Internet Explorer Unhandled Exception"

Got any advice and how i can fix this post it please!

With everything that I am reading is that it is a Malware infection.

first try scanning using

MalwareBytes

Then scan with
Windows Live OneCare safety scanner for Windows Vista and Windows 7

I would also direct you to run ... Eset Online Scanner as well.

If you are unable to get to either of those sites or any sites.
Then I would advise downloading MalwareBytes at another PC and copy to USB and then install that and try scanning with that.

And I want to point out that, it is Highly Unlikely that the ShoppingBHO.dll was installed with IE9. More than likely it was already there, but made itself present after the install of IE9. Or, you hit a site right off the bat that installed it in a drive by.

What Antivirus are you running now?

I am running Avira AntiVir Personal - Free Anti Virus And im Installing the things listed Thanks!

Well,, Avira is better than AVG. At least you are not running that AVG garbage.

I would still recommend MSE over all other free alternatives, and even most pay for alternatives.

Well so far the Eset Online Scanner Found 5 items it says that "Cheat Engine's hack tools" are threats. Could this be the problem?

It also said a bad toolbar although i dont use toolbars...

If you are finding anything that is referred to as an infection,, let it clean them all.
There is not much more that I can tell you.

If those 3 tools alone do not resolve your issue, you can hang out and wait to see if someone can/will tell you more. But I would recommend backing up data a do full nuke and reload of the OS. It's the only way to be sure.

I have no freaking idea how to reload the OS... Although when i ran In private mode it worked perfectly... Do you know how to look a plugins... :sarc: And if i was to do all that my machine would explode if i nuked it... i get the point and i was a vista home basic user and i reload the OS will that take me back to vista?

ShoppingBHO.dll removal - easy

I too had the problem of IE9 not opening due to ShoppingBHO.dll

To fix the problem, a shopping application, add in for Internet Explorer had to be uninstalled. To find it, I searched on IE9, found the file in a folder with the name of the application (I can't remember what it was unfortunately) then uninstalled the application.

This was a frustrating problem, until I figured out the simple solution.
