Does IE9 work with Silverlight or vice versa? I had IE9 installed and liked it until I tried Netflix and found Silverlight problems. Went back to IE8 and got it going again. I was not sure about which version of IE9 to install at the outset. There were of course two choices x64 and x86. Picked the x64 as I use 7 x64. Should I have tried the x86? Was not sure whether the download choices referred to the OS or the version of IE9. Confusion reigns at this point. Any and all thoughts appreciated?

Outlander:

Silverlight is MicroSoft's answer to Flash (Adobe).

IE9 is still in Beta, so any problems with it are to be expected.

If you want problem-free operation, stick with the latest stable version of your browser and the latest stable version of Silverlight.

Personally, I run Firefox with Silverlight plug-in to watch NetFlix movies- crossed-fingers- knock on wood- no problems so far...
