Solved I'm stumped: Computer won't turn on, heat issue

Best to check out the PSU, try hooking up another one for testing.

Motherboard is a bit more difficult to swap out, but you may need to if you have one you can try.

I know I'm late, but I wanted to give you guys an update (if you even remember this at all )

I ended up replacing the motherboard (cheap), PSU (I had a spare), CPU (twice, the first was a gimmick, further complicating things), RAM (to match the newer motherboard because I didn't know DDR3 Ram was made to work with 775 socket MB, but do now), and HDD (another spare). It is an entirely new computer. Managed to install windows on it and its finally working great. Thank you guys all for your great help.

The first CPU wouldn't work at all, but you could imagine I was stressing out cause after installing everything, I had no idea which part was malfunctioning. Finally found the culprit (never buy from no podunk nut, not ever) and its doing good.
