Does anyone know how to improve the quality of "Windows Photo Viewer".

It doesn't seem to be rendering .jpg files correctly.

A picture that looks great in Internet Explorer, doesn't look so good in "Windows Photo Viewer", or Windows Live Photo Gallery.

The best I can do is point you to my own somewhat-related poor picture quality thread that doesn't contain any sort of answer, only possible work-arounds which also don't improve the quality at all...

It also could just be that you don't have some necessary drivers installed. Please fill us in a bit more on when/how you discovered this and explain a bit more what "doesn't look so good" means to you.
